A Meeting of Souls was my first published novel and started out as a short story written for my own entertainment on Halloween 2014. When I shared with friends I was amazed at how many wanted me to expand it into a full novel, and I spent the next 4 years doing just that. Publishing it in October 2019.

 

Spanning the present, past and afterlife it tells the story of Brigid, who after performing a Samhain rite finds herself face to face with her life-long hero, King Richard III. Richard is convinced that Brigid is the reincarnation of his wife, Anne Neville. with whom Brigid has shared an emotional affinity for many decades, through her historical research.  She has cried Anne's tears. shared her joys and fears as well as her heart-rending grief on the death of  her son, Edward of Middleham. Richard wants to take her back, beyond the veil, to reunite his family, but for Brigid there is a price to pay, for she will die in her present life. How can she choose to go knowing the grief it will cause to her own children and grandchildren? But how can she refuse knowing Anne's soul will be left wander for eternity, while Richard and Edward will forever be deprived of the love of wife and mother? What will she decide
